“What a Gem of a place in Cape town! The room is absolutely beautiful.”
We stayed here for the last couple of days of our honeymoon and it was perfect. beautiful views of the mountains and a great pool and seating area outside. Perfect Perfect place for couples! We did find Jennifer’s place a bit far from central Cape Town about a 30-35 min drive into town, but if your looking to explore Muizenberg and Fish Hoek area this would be the place for you. We would definitely recommend this place its very clean the bed is very comfortable. A great place to stay to end off your trip and get some RnR before getting on a long plane ride home.

“Loved our stay – cozy, comfortable, modern, affordable, safe and convenient.”
Everything you’d want in a place to stay. We were doing seal and shark dives in false bay and also wanted to explore the vineyards and cape town. We picked African Violet because its pretty central to all that we wanted to do. Throughout our stay we realized that IT’S VERY central to everything. Not really more than a 30 min drive or less to all the areas we wanted to visit.
We stayed in the design studio and it was just perfect. You can tell they made a lot of the modern finishings themselves which I really loved. Its not over decorated with knick-nacks – its clean and simple – an it makes you feel…. just chilled out. It felt very personal. The room had all the amenities we needed and the view from the little patio was great – overlooking the coast and the mountains. We had our own private parking behind the gate with a remote which was nice too. I felt so safe that I could have slept with the windows open.
Needless to say our suitcases were getting a bit “gamey” lol. Jenny arranged for our laundry to be dropped off and washed and folded for us at a local launders. We of course paid of this to be done but I really thought that was super – no washing two suitcases full when we got home. Well worth it!
