African Violet Guest Suites is a vacation destination where couples can escape to take time out of their busy schedule to appreciate the beauties of life and enjoy time-out.
Our north facing location is conveniently situated close to Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Simon’s Town, Kommetjie, Scarborough and Noordhoek on the Cape Town south peninsula.
If you are planning something really special, choose from one of the three honeymoon suites – Terrace Suite Premier Honeymoon (Jacuzzi bath and private pool), Courtyard Suite Deluxe Honeymoon (outdoor couple’s spa bath) and Design Studio Superior Honeymoon (outdoor couple’s spa bath). Exotic ambiance and romantic setting is perfect for making memories.
Each of the five luxury self-catering apartments has a private entrance and outdoor sitting area with uninterrupted views of the magnificent Atlantic coastline and surrounding mountains.
Each apartment has a king bed, cotton percale linen, fully-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes (studios), air-conditioning or fans, DSTV- hotel package, Weber BBQ, free wireless internet, safe, fireplace or heating, and secure off-street parking.
The Cabana, communal rock pool, sun deck and sun beds are all prepared for the delight and use of African Violet guests – from sun rise to sun set you can soak in the warm South African sun.
African Violet Guest Suites is an ideal base from which to explore the glories of the Western Cape. Great choice of places to visit – Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Cape Point, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, Clovelly Golf Club, renowned wine routes – Constantia and Stellenbosch, farm villages and fresh-produce markets, enchanting shops in quaint Kalk Bay, top restaurants, whale watching, shark cage diving, surf lessons, beach horse rides, etc.
We are close to Longbeach Mall, where your daily needs can be met – grocery store, bank, clothes shops, pharmacy and mobile phone outlets.
In the event of a medical emergency we are supported by Cape Medical Response (CMR) whose offices are less than 5 kilometres from us. CMR are equipped to deal with any medical emergency that may arise.
African Violet is cut into the side of the mountain and offers uninterrupted views. Two of the apartments have rustic stone steps down to their level which could be a challenge to someone that has difficulty walking.
Conveniently located, 40 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport, this tranquil getaway is off the beaten track.

Rob has, over the years starting from virgin soil, designed, developed and built all that you see on the north facing slopes bordering the nature reserve. Recent improvements dramatically add to the experience at African Violet Guest Suites.

With views across the Noordhoek valley to the Atlantic Ocean, African Violet has six luxury self catering apartments. Each well equipped apartment is private and has its own outdoor area, and the use of the communal pool.
